The former Texas lawman pushing for change on drug policy

Al Jazeera’s Shihab Rattansi spoke to a man who has spent ten years trying to stop drugs entering the United States from Mexico.

Terry Nelson was a border agent in the Texas city of El Paso. When he retired, he joined the group Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.

He asked him why he no longer thinks enforcement is the way of tackling the drug trade.
